Kathy McLafferty - Church Administrator
Kathy has been a member of CCOW for over 30 years. She grew up in Wilkinsburg, but her family now lives in Lower Burrell, Pa. She was a teacher, but let that to join our staff in January 2026. She has been active in every part of the church's ministries from Worship and Deacon Chair, child care and helping where is needed. She has been married to her best friend Jeff, since 1994. She is very proud of her two children, Stephane (Nate) and AJ.
Maja Petrovic - Full-Time Pianist
A native of Serbia, Maja Petrovic holds a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the Music Academy in Eastern Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She went on to earn her Master’s degree at the Faculty of Music in Skopje, Macedonia, and an Artist Diploma in piano performance from Duquesne University, where she studied with David Allen Wehr, Dean of Mary Pappert School of Music. Maja Petrovic is a concert pianist, collaborative artist, and educator who has performed throughout Serbia, Europe, and the United States. She has appeared as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral pianist, collaborating with orchestras, opera and dance companies, singers, and instrumentalists. Maja has also served as a judge for international music competitions in both Serbia and the United States. She has won over thirty awards, both as a soloist and as a member of chamber music ensembles.
In 2022, she was promoted to full-time staff pianist at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School and served as Music Coordinator from 2024 to 2026. Maja has served as Music Director at Christian Church of Wilkinsburg in Pittsburgh since 2018.
Jennifer Castelli - Church Secretary
Jennifer grew up in our congregation and is the daughter of former long-time members, Paul and Helen Long. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Greensburg in Biological Sciences. She is the mother of Alyssa and Kylie, who often assist her in her work around the church.
